Chapter 282 Relaxing Daily Life
Chapter 282 Relaxing Daily Life
Sirius looked around in confusion, then was pushed into the restaurant by Molly.
"Your—" Harry asked cautiously. He had lived here twice and had never seen the portrait before.
Sirius glanced up at the portrait that was purring with its mouth closed, then back at Harry, seemingly not wanting to talk about it.
"My mother, we've been trying to get her off for a month, but she seems to have cast a permanent sticking spell behind the canvas..."
"Okay, let's eat first!" Molly said, holding some plates. "Fred, I need you to help me clear the table."
Fred pouted and muttered: Why don't Bill and Patsy do the work?
Mr. Weasley and Bill were at the other end of the table, their heads put together and whispering something.
George and Tonks chased after Afro, asking her what spell she had used and how she had done it.
"Adding glue to the cake?" George repeated in disbelief. He had never thought of such a prank. "Sweetheart, this prank is a genius idea!"
He put his arm around Afro's shoulders and held her tightly against him.
Mr. Weasley leaned over to look at his son's actions and coughed.
"Okay, stop talking about this at the dinner table!"
Molly placed plates full of food in front of Aphrodite, Harry and Hermione, while everyone else had empty plates.
"Mom, you're so unfair!" Fred shouted in mock dissatisfaction.
"Fred, if you keep talking, you won't be eating!" Molly walked behind Bill and Mr. Weasley and looked at the parchment in front of them, and said sternly, "These should be put away after the meeting!"
Bill took out his wand and said: Vanish.
Mundungus took out a pipe and tried to put it in his mouth to take a puff, which aroused Molly's dissatisfaction.
Harry took a few quick steps and took a seat just to the right of Aphrodite.
"Did you have a good vacation?"
"Harry, we've only been apart for less than half a month."
Harry touched the tip of his nose awkwardly, he just wanted to get the girl's attention.
"Fred! George!" Molly screamed suddenly, "Don't use magic!"
Afro turned her head and saw that the twins used magic to bring a large pot of food to the table.
Everyone bent down and lowered their heads in unison to avoid the attack, and only a few clanging sounds were heard.
The stew slid across the table in a long streak, the mug of butterbeer fell over, and the knife fell out of the bread.
In my ears were Molly's yelling and the twins' insincere apologies.
Sirius was leaning against the door frame, laughing loudly over a glass of beer.
Harry and Afro had to help clean up the mess.
"For Merlin's sake, please stop using magic!"
Even as they sat down on the chairs, Molly continued to lecture the twins on their behavior.
"They did everything right, but they still didn't believe he would come back."
Bill scooped a large spoonful of soup into his mouth, chewing it while talking to Afro through the twins.
Afro cut a piece of bread and put it on Harry's plate, answering without looking up.
"I believe that most wizards will not side with Voldemort if they still remember the Quidditch World Cup."
Percy paused holding the fork. He knew the faces of those people in the Ministry of Magic very well. At least everyone was deceived by Fudge.
"Your newspaper has played a very important role," said Lupin.
A sudden burst of laughter from the middle of the table drowned out whatever Bill wanted to say.
Mundungus raised his hand to wipe away the tears from his eyes, laughing so hard that he could hardly breathe: "Later... believe it or not——"
