Chapter 419 Marco's Revenge
Chapter 419 Marco's Revenge
Luffy lay on Ace's back and listened to Lucci and Ace explaining to him everything that happened in Impel Down, as well as Sabo. It turned out that Sabo was brought by Qi. In this case, Qi had already returned. Luffy couldn't help but grin.
At this moment, he noticed an annoyed gaze directed at Ace. Luffy turned his head curiously and saw the man who looked like a pineapple and the man with hair like long bread staring at him curiously. He climbed onto his brother's shoulders and looked at them curiously, as well as the people who stuck their heads out of the door. They looked like they really wanted to come in, but for some reason they were hiding at the door.
"Luffy, stop crawling on me." Ace said to him in a reproachful voice, but he didn't reach out to pull him, so he didn't care about Ace's words. Instead, he turned his attention back to the man who looked like a pineapple and greeted him with a smile, "Hi, Pineapple Head."
"Hahaha."
The man with the long bread-haired hair suddenly burst into laughter, which startled him, and why Ace's body was shaking, as well as Lucci and Sabo.
"It's Marco, yoi!" Marco yelled angrily. "I introduced myself on Den Den Mushi!"
"Oh oh?" Luffy hesitated, but he looked more like a pineapple, or was he actually a mango, because his hair did look like a pineapple. Luffy decided to follow his heart and apologized sincerely, "Sorry, mango head."
For a moment, everyone in the infirmary, including the few people eavesdropping outside, were trying their best not to laugh. The next second, no one could hold it back and everyone burst into laughter.
Luffy looked blankly at the laughing crowd. Ace's body trembled even more violently, and he even coughed. He should ask Chopper to check on Ace later, Luffy thought with some worry.
But why does Pineapple Head look even angrier? Isn't he a mango? Or is he actually a combination of pineapple and mango? But if that's the case, what should he be called? His name is really weird.
"Luffy, you can't call him that." Lucci said to Luffy, trying not to laugh, but his eyes completely exposed his evil nature. "He should actually be..."
"A giant roast chicken! Luffy, you should take a bite of him," Ace couldn't hold it in any longer and continued with the rest of Luffy's words while laughing maniacally.
"Hey, how can you teach Luffy like this." Sabo tried his best not to laugh, but failed. It was just too funny, and his brother was just too cute.
"Ace! You'd better tell him not to try yoi!" Marco noticed Luffy's interested look and immediately shouted angrily.
Hearing this, Ace and Lucci laughed even harder.
"Don't worry, Pineapple Head, even if you were a super delicious roast chicken... I wouldn't eat you!" Luffy grinned.
"It would be more convincing if you could stop drooling while talking about roast chicken." Thatch couldn't help but tease while laughing. Finally, under the attack of Marco's eyes, he finally stopped laughing, but the grin on his face was still huge. "By the way, I'm Thatch. I introduced myself to you before on Den Den Mushi."
"Hi, hello, Breadhead." Luffy blinked and looked at Breadhead who suddenly looked depressed and asked in confusion, "Breadhead, what's wrong with you?"
Luffy looked at the increasingly depressed Thatch thoughtfully. It was obvious that Toastie didn't like his name, just like Sanji, but they were really alike. Luffy pouted, but Toastie looked just as depressed as Sanji had been when he saw his wanted poster. So he should give him a hug, right? The hug cheered Sanji up, so Toastie could do the same.
"Luffy, this is Thatch, and the grilled chicken guy just now is Marco." Luffy suppressed his laughter and introduced them to Luffy. He felt that if he didn't intervene, Thatch and Marco would really become autistic. "They are both partners of Ace and me, and they are the ones who saved Ace and me. They will be happier if you call them Thatch and Marco."
"Lucci!!" Marco glared at Lucci angrily, feeling troubled by the stupidity of these brothers.
"Oh! I see!" Luffy stretched out his hand and wanted to give the frustrated bun-head a hug, but Ace stopped him and wouldn't let him go. But it didn't matter. Luffy smiled secretly, just like Ace had successfully stopped him before. He stretched out his arms and put them on Ace's shoulders, and successfully hugged the bun-head through Ace's shoulders. "I'm sorry, bun... Thatch, even if your hair looks like food, I won't eat it! Because we are friends."
Thatch blinked and looked at Luffy who had his arms around him, and suddenly had a good idea. Although he didn't understand why Luffy's arms were with him and his body was in Ace's arms, he would study it later. Now he smiled proudly at his new idea, but his precious hair would definitely be ruined, so he needed to find a helper. Thatch glanced at Marco and grinned.
Marco immediately understood what his stupid brother wanted to do. Normally he would not do this. He had to make sure the little guy continued to lie in bed, but... they all looked very lively when they laughed, so how could he let go of these three idiots who had laughed at him so many times and had a serious brother complex, especially the little bastard who often set fires, Marco thought so, and then without hesitation, he immediately took the Straw Hat Boy that Thatch had pulled from Ace's arms and turned and ran.
Thatch grinned and rushed out after Marco, completely ignoring the shouts of the brothers who were peeking at the door. After running for a distance, Thatch's smile became more and more smug. He was extremely proud of his idea and couldn't help but show off to Marco, "Marco, my idea is not bad, right? It works better than we imagined, especially the expressions on their faces. I really want to take a picture and laugh at it later."
"Then your hair is completely ruined," Marco said with the same smug smile.
Ace was momentarily stunned, unsure how this could happen. One second, Luffy was in his arms, and the next, he was in Marco's. The three stared in amazement as Marco and Thatch rushed out the door, clutching Luffy. Had they snatched Luffy away? Ace was the first to react, roaring angrily, "Marco! Give him back to us!"
"Oh, don't be mean, Ace, you heard what the kid said, we're friends now!" Thatch said jokingly with a grin to Ace who started to chase after them.
"Marco! Take that kid to see his dad!" Harta, Izo and Vista, who had been standing at the door of the infirmary and watched the whole process, grinned.
"Wow, that was fun! Can we do that again? Ace keeps telling me not to use rockets everywhere, but this was really fun." Luffy reacted with a grin and asked for another try, not caring that his brother was chasing after him and Marco.
Marco turned his attention to the boy in his arms and smiled slightly. Luffy was definitely a lively fellow, and while he might have faced firestorms for kidnapping a child and introducing him to the other commanders, when would he have another chance? And even though Ace was breathing fire, there was nothing he could do about it, as he didn't want to risk his brother being in danger of the flames that would have facilitated his actions.
"Stop, Marco, Luffy still needs to rest and recover together!"
"Don't worry, I'll let him go back to bed to rest after the introduction. Now..." Marco was a little amused. When did Lucci take the initiative to ask for rest?
