Chapter 2085, Page 2.83: Some things lose their value once you've seen them.
In Jurassic World 4, Parker Genetics is developing a new drug called "Paleodioxin." Computer calculations suggest it can delay heart disease progression by approximately 20 years. This new drug, Paleodioxin, requires the blood sample from the largest dinosaur ever discovered to be used to synthesize DNA.
The three largest dinosaurs are: the sea monster Mosasaurus, the land giant Titanosaur, and the sky king Quetzalcoatlus.
This is also the main storyline of Jurassic World 4.
"You mean a special medicine that can extend the life of the heart by 20 years?" Captain Nine-Tailed asked tentatively.
"No, that's not it." The young lady shook her finger. "It's 'Gulongsu,' which can cure all diseases and improve genes." Sure enough, the plot has changed.
"Will I transform into a dinosaur superhero after eating it?" Captain Nine-Tailed asked with a smile.
"He's a superhero as powerful as a dinosaur," the young lady corrected with a smile.
"A mutant gene serum," Captain Nine-Tailed used a more scientific term.
“Ah…” The young lady’s eyes lit up: “It seems you are not as ancient as the pyramid behind you.”
"Is it true or not? Never mind." Captain Nine-Tailed actually wanted to ask if all the characters in the show who were sold in bulk had purchased the so-called "Coca-Cola Essence".
"Will everyone buy it?" It seems that Captain Nine-Tails wasn't the only one who asked a similar question: "Well, it depends on whether I come or not."
"What do you mean?" Captain Nine-Tails felt there was something more to his words.
"This pyramid looks a lot like the one I visited last time. Anyway, this is my first time here." The young lady's memories seemed to be building up rapidly: "You know, maps are never complete..."
"I see." Captain Nine-Tailed understood. Although they had just completed their battle royale adventure in the first level of the Fulong Temple and had only reached the second level, the young lady in front of them didn't seem to have noticed this significant change: a pyramid had suddenly appeared on the island. Instead, she thought that because the map was incomplete, she hadn't discovered this pyramid that had sprung up out of nowhere before.
So, will the plot memories also be updated as the competition progresses?
Or perhaps, due to the constant "rewinding" after completing races, these characters whose memories of the plot had been erased experienced a kind of "flashback" of fragmented memories from their previous lives. Or perhaps they felt a strange sense of familiarity with similar scenes they had repeatedly experienced before?
"By the way, how did you manage to cross the territory of those mutated dinosaurs and find us?" Captain Nine-Tailed asked seemingly casually.
"You mean those 'mutant dragons' with two mouths, one inside and one outside?" The young lady gestured to the alien's unique "inner fangs."
“Yes, those are them.” Captain Nine-Tailed nodded immediately.
"Ah..." The young lady tugged at the reins, and the raptor leader stepped forward affectionately: "Those 'ugly ducklings' will automatically avoid dinosaurs stronger than themselves. Regardless of whether they have mutated or not."
"So how do you control them?" The Nine-Tails captain, who had been gradually advancing the plot through dialogue, finally got to the crucial information.
"Cologne essence + brainwave ring." The young lady slightly lifted the brim of her hat, revealing the high-tech headband she was wearing.
"Ancient Dragon Essence + Brainwave Ring, how do I switch sets?" Captain Nine-Tailed immediately asked. This was clearly a crucial dialogue box. Whether the choice was correct or not was secondary. Advancing the plot was the priority.
“That depends on what you have to offer in exchange.” The young lady immediately got into the swing of things: “It has to be something presentable!” “Will this work?” Captain Nine-Tailed took the laptop that had just finished decoding the system from the Chen sisters.
"Ah..." The young lady was about to shake her head. Something that her neighbor gave as a souvenir couldn't be too expensive. However, the moment Captain Nine-Tails opened the notebook, her eyes suddenly lit up.
She discovered that instead of the usual home screen, she was directly logged into the system. No login password?
"Is it alright?" Captain Nine-Tails asked with a beaming smile.
"Ahem, we'll have to see for ourselves." The young lady clearly wanted to try it out herself to check if there was any important data stored on the laptop. The laptop itself wasn't valuable; the data stored inside was the key.
"No way." Captain Nine-Tails quickly closed his notebook: "Some things lose their value once you've seen them."
“Ancient Dragon Essence + Brainwave Ring. I can’t trade for that.” The young lady is indeed a successful traveling merchant: “However, I can trade for a dragon egg.”
"What?" Captain Nine-Tails was stunned. This isn't Monster Hunter?!
Wu Chen laughed and said, "Actually, it's more like 'Dinosaur Brothers'."
Dyna Brothers is a strategy game released by CRI Inc. on July 24, 1992, for the Sega Mega Drive platform. Players take on the role of "The Egg," the creator god, hatching dinosaur eggs, managing the ecosystem, and commanding an army of dinosaurs to defend against alien invaders.
"Let's check the quality first." Captain Nine-Tails decided to let the transaction continue.
"Alright!" The young lady whistled and waved behind her. The most adorable-looking dire raptor in the group slowly stepped forward. It used its tail to lift the saddle pouch on its left abdomen, then gently pushed out the dragon egg, catching it steadily with its front paws as it rolled down, and placed it in front of the young lady.
Their hand-eye coordination is impeccable. They are absolutely terrifying hunters.
Captain Nine-Tailed gestured with the "inner fangs" hand and asked again, "Why haven't they mutated?"
"Ah." The young lady was naturally happy to give away this completely unimportant but helpful information for the smooth running of the transaction: "Because they cannot parasitize."
"Unable to parasitize?" This was the most useful background information the Nine-Tails Captain had heard.
The young lady laughed and said, "Look, my team consists of female beasts. Even if they are accidentally parasitized, they can expel the parasite by laying an egg."
"So that's how it is!" Captain Nine-Tailed immediately understood. In other words, the Xenomorph's "DNA optimization selection" meant that after parasitizing its dinosaur host, it wouldn't burst out of its body. Instead, it would transform into an Xenomorph dinosaur egg and be expelled. This also meant that the entire parasitic system wouldn't harm the adult host!
So here's the question: Is this dragon egg, used for the trade, an alien dragon egg?
"Of course not." Seeing through the Nine-Tailed Captain's suspicion, the young lady offered another important piece of information for free: "The hard shell of a dragon egg that has already been laid is the best defense (please note). And all dragon eggs that have been parasitized will be covered with black spots, just like a moldy, rotten egg (please pay special attention)."
"I've learned something new." The scan results perfectly matched what the young lady had said. It was indeed a healthy Diredragon egg.
"Wait a minute..." The Nine-Tails captain, who was about to make the deal, suddenly had a flash of inspiration: "This egg... could it have been laid on the way here?"
"Hahaha!" Taking advantage of her laughter, she subtly shifted half a body to block the gaze from the most adorable mad raptor, and immediately changed the subject: "Anyway, it's a healthy dragon egg!"
"By the way, could dinosaurs reproduce parthenogenetically?" This was what Wu Chen asked Captain Nine-Tailed to ask.
"Of course." The young lady wasn't lying. The dinosaurs in Jurassic World 3 were able to reproduce parthenogenetically.
"So, this 'trade item' of yours has almost no cost?" Captain Nine-Tails immediately started haggling.
