Chapter 421: I Hate You, I Hate You to Death
Chapter 421: I Hate You, I Hate You to Death
Caden Lockwood tightly knitted his dark brows as the word ’divorce’ spilled from Evelyn Morgan’s lips, more than just once or twice.
He knew he had gone too far.
But she was already his, how could he possibly let her leave?
"I won’t divorce you." Caden Lockwood’s voice was not loud, but filled with firm determination, "You’re my wife, and now, you’re truly my wife. No matter who you love now, from today on, it can only be me."
Evelyn Morgan looked at Caden Lockwood, he was still emphasizing whom she loved now.
Oh, right!
Yesterday, in a fit of anger, she seemed to have said she loved Logan Shaw.
"You can find another way to punish me." Caden Lockwood said indifferently, "I’ll accept it."
Evelyn Morgan’s gaze shattered completely, torn apart by Caden Lockwood’s admission of wrongdoing, leaving her even more confused.
Life always becomes a mess after she plans it out.
Couldn’t she just live a normal life?
"Then don’t appear before me." Evelyn Morgan’s voice was icy, with no trace of nostalgia on her face, "Don’t let me see you again!"
"I..."
"Caden Lockwood, I hate you, I hate you to death!" Evelyn Morgan roared at Caden Lockwood, "Can’t you let me go? Stop bothering me?"
Just the thought of what happened yesterday made Evelyn Morgan unable to forgive.
Her body was still in pain, she had to force herself to eat.
What right did he have to ask her for forgiveness?
And why did she have to forgive him?
Seeing Caden Lockwood standing still without any intention of leaving, Evelyn Morgan simply got out of bed and shouted angrily, "Aren’t you leaving? Then I’ll go! I’ll go!"
"Evelyn!" Caden Lockwood immediately pressed Evelyn Morgan back onto the bed, "Don’t get agitated! Wait for the doctor to see you, once I’m sure you’re okay, then I’ll leave, alright?"
"No!" Evelyn Morgan cried, shaking her head, "It’s not alright at all! Waaa—go away! Stop appearing before me! Go!"
Listening to Evelyn Morgan’s anguished cries, Caden Lockwood’s heart felt as though it had been crushed by an army.
If he could turn back time, he would still have her.
But he would definitely control himself, once or twice would be enough.
How could he repeatedly torment her like that?
It was her first time!
As her husband, he should have given her a wonderful night.
Holding Evelyn Morgan in his arms, Caden Lockwood spoke gently, "It’s my fault, Evelyn, how could I treat you that way? But, the punishment can’t be making me leave, I can’t bear to leave you."
Evelyn Morgan kept pounding Caden Lockwood’s chest, her tears soaking his chest, yet he continued to hold her, gently stroking her back, unwilling to let go.
Evelyn Morgan, furious, bit down on Caden Lockwood’s chest, fiercely, and wouldn’t let go.
She hated, she resented, she was angry, how could there be a man like Caden Lockwood in this world?
He was clearly the one at fault, yet he wanted to dictate how he should be forgiven?
She had never encountered such a domineering person!
Caden Lockwood did not flinch, but only tightened his arms around Evelyn Morgan, letting her vent her hatred towards him.
Evelyn Morgan kept biting Caden Lockwood, knowing that even through the shirt, it must be painful.
She couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty, unconsciously easing her grip.
But as she thought about how painful it was when he wanted her, when she repeatedly shouted for him to stop, did he ever intend to let her go?
