Chapter 273 Our Home
Chapter 273 Our Home
"We're going to buy a store," Fred continued.
This has always been their dream, to own a shop of their own.
Afro knew that they had wanted a shop for a long time, and she had offered to give them one.
But was rejected by Fred and George.
That’s when they said, “Baby, we want to give you this store as a gift.”
Every time she thought of the way Fred and George looked at her, Afro knew why she was attracted to them.
Because there is a light in her eyes that belongs only to her.
"Have you told Aunt Molly?" Afro asked after calming down.
Fred stopped talking and glanced at George with an absent look.
"No, Mom never agreed."
"So, we want to talk to her after the dust settles."
Since the three of them were not busy anyway, they just went shopping and looked for shops for sale in Diagon Alley.
“There’s one right here!”
Afro pointed to a shabby three-story shop facing the street not far ahead.
The glass on the window was broken, the wooden door was crooked, and there was only a small wooden board in front of the door, on which was written: For Sale, 500 Galleons.
Fred walked up to the store and knocked on the door.
Less than a minute later, the door opened and an elderly, white-haired grandmother leaned out.
"What can I do for you, three of you?"
“We saw it was for sale so we thought we’d go in and take a look.”
When the old lady heard that they were here to see the house, she opened the door wider and warmly invited them in.
"Come in, three of you."
Afro and the other two walked in and found that the room was not in a good condition. There was nothing in the room, moldy and peeling walls, rotten wooden floors, and unknown creatures hiding in the corners...
"There are three floors here in total. The top floor is a loft, and the two floors below are the same size."
The old lady kindly introduced the house to them.
"Why do you suddenly want to sell the store?" George asked.
The old lady smiled bitterly and walked down the stairs with her cane. "This place was originally run by me and my old man, but now there are rumors outside..."
The three of them took another look around and found that the environment was pretty good overall. Although it was not located on the main street, it was not far away.
Most importantly, the price is right.
Fred and George happily paid the bill and became the new owners of the store.
"Baby, keep this safe." Fred took the girl's hand and placed a brass key in her palm.
George put his arm around Afro's waist and lifted her up slightly until their eyes were level, "This is our store."
"Aren't you afraid that I'll steal your shop?"
Afro shook the key in his hand and smiled like a villain.
"Why would we need to steal from a store?" Fred leaned against her back, his tone sounding a little happy, "Our hearts have been stolen by our little darling."
Afro jumped out of George's arms, put a hand on Fred's chest, and looked at him with a charming smile.
"So sir, what is it that's beating under my hand?"
"It's the sound of loving you."
Afro, who was teased, blushed and withdrew her hand. When it comes to saying sweet words, she is better than these two brothers.
"Madam, you should think about how to decorate our store." Looking at the two people flirting, George jealously pulled Afro in front of him and naturally put an arm on her shoulder.
Afro looked at the dilapidated shop and rubbed his forehead with a headache.
"Why don't we leave it to the professionals?"
The professionals she was referring to were the interior design department of the Campbell family business.
Fred and George circled her happily.
"But I still want this place to be filled with us and the baby."
Afro asked doubtfully, "Aren't you in a hurry?"
"Of course not, this will be our little home." They said in unison.
