Chapter 269 Snape's Choice

Chapter 269 Snape's Choice

Snape was looking directly at her, his arms folded, his face as grim as ever.

Dumbledore took this girl very seriously and even wanted to recruit her into the Order of the Phoenix.

If Afro wasn't yet an adult.

"Instead of worrying about others, why not worry about your classes and those brats?"

Snape turned around and was about to leave, but Afro would certainly not let him go so easily.

Now that Cedric's deadlock has been solved, only Fred and Snape's are left.

"Professor, have you ever thought of another option?"

"It's none of your business." Snape still had his back to her, not letting anyone see his expression.

It was like he had gotten used to acting and atonement over the years.

Afro sighed in his heart. It was almost impossible to make Snape go back to the past.

His heart had long been broken.

How many times did he feel regret and guilt for the choices he made when he was young, every time he looked into Harry's eyes.

Aphrodite calmed herself down, sniffed, walked around to Snape, and took out a silver button from her pocket.

"The buttons are at the collar." She pulled out a few small decorative items from another pocket. "You can use these however you want. They are for other people."

Snape took these things and looked at them in front of him. This must be the secret of how they escaped from the Chamber of Secrets that year.

Do those two silly guys think they can dispel other people's suspicions by not saying anything?

It wasn't him and Dumbledore who handled those loopholes for them.

"I know what I'm doing, I hope you won't stop me."

Afro was worried and wanted to say something else, but Snape interrupted her.

“No one will regret this time.”

The tone was calm, as if Snape already knew what he would face.

"Good luck, Professor."

Snape stood there and watched the girl's figure gradually walk away. Finally, she was held by the boys waiting at the door and disappeared at the end of the corridor together.

The darkness gradually swallowed him, and his black robe merged into the night.

Only a trace of warmth remaining in his palm reminded him that there was someone here who was worried about him just now.

A breeze blew by, and a beam of fluorescent light illuminated the place.

Snape raised his shining wand to illuminate the dim corridor and walked in the opposite direction of Avro.

The black robe fluttered gently.

A faint candlelight flickered twice, slowly illuminating the corner.

Afro obediently lay back on her bed. Draco and Theodore, who had come over at some point, came up to her and looked at her intently.

"What took you so long?"

Draco wanted to visit Avro in the school infirmary, but when he reached the door, he saw the girl and his old dean standing in a dim corner, talking about something.

"Talk to the professor about what to do about the classes you've missed."

"Have you found a solution?" Theodore considerately placed the food on the tray, and as for others, he just threw them over.

Afro smiled at Theodore, her round eyes curved into crescent shapes, and her smile was sweeter than the cake on the plate.

"Yes, he asked me to find a few students to tutor."

Draco's eyes suddenly lit up. He took Afro's hand and said confidently, "No problem. I'll help you during the holidays!"

Theodore clicked his tongue and slapped Draco's hand for interrupting the girl's meal, "You're interrupting her meal!"

Fred and George shouted in dissatisfaction, "You don't need to teach me. Who knows if you, a venomous snake, have any bad intentions!"

"Then you two will teach? Just based on the result of that low-altitude flight?"

Fred and George were so angry about their poor performance in Potions that they grabbed Draco by the collar.

"Gryffindor has Hermione!"

Cedric clenched his fist and coughed twice, and then spoke when he saw that Afro's attention was drawn to him.

"I can teach you. I still remember the fourth grade curriculum."

"You're not needed. Don't forget that you also need tutoring for senior classes!" Draco retorted unhappily.

For some reason, Afro found it hilarious to see Draco act like he had received a bullying script.

“Hahahahahahaha…” She was suddenly tickled and couldn’t stop laughing, almost knocking over the tray on her legs.

Thanks to Theodore's quick action, no tragedy occurred.

"Okay, you all come to my house to study during the holidays." Afro wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, took Harry and Cedric's hands and made the decision.

Cedric shook his head fondly, while Ron howled plaintively.

“I don’t want to study!”
