Chapter 229 Durmstrang and Bubbleston
Chapter 229 Durmstrang and Bubbleston
23 rolled over comfortably, gurgling, rubbing his little head against Afulo's palm, looking like he was enjoying himself so much.
"Aphrodite, is this your fox?" Hermione asked.
Afro's hands that were kneading the fox suddenly stopped. She squatted on the ground and looked up at Hermione. "No, but we'll keep it, okay?"
Hermione hesitated for a moment, "But Hogwarts can't..."
"If we don't tell anyone, no one will know."
"Can--"
Hermione watched 23 and Aphrodite blink at her, and the little fox called out to her in a soft and cute way, as if to say, "Stay with me, I'll be cute."
"Okay, but quietly."
Afro couldn't hide her excitement and jumped up and hugged Hermione, "Great! 23 can stay!"
"Twentythree?"
"It must have a name, right?" Afro held the little fox and scratched its chin.
Hermione rubbed 23's triangular ears and thought for a moment, "This name is too weird, why not call her Tuan Tuan?" (Twen-Twen)
The red and yellow curtains blocked the moonlight outside the window. Afro lay on the bed holding 23, listening to it explain why the system can turn into a fox.
"So as long as the system is upgraded to a certain level, it can transform into a physical entity?"
"Yes, yes! Isn't it a big surprise, little Afu?"
Surprise? It's obviously a shock.
These days, Hermione and Afro have been carefully raising 23 in the dormitory. Fortunately, 23 is easy to feed, but a little greedy.
Harry saw that the two of them had packed a lot of food on the long table again. He couldn't help but be curious and asked, "Afu, aren't you full?"
"Ah? No." Afro took a few syrup fruit pies and put them in a paper bag, and took two chicken legs from Ron's plate. "Parvati asked me to bring something back for her."
"But..." Harry turned his head to look at the Indonesian girl sitting below them, and whispered to himself, "She's here for dinner..."
"Don't worry about girls' affairs. Be careful or Aphrodite won't want you!" Hermione also saw Parvati, and she threatened her good friend without panic.
Harry felt that Afro must be hiding something from him!
After dessert, Dumbledore picked up the silver fork and tapped the goblet. The noise in the hall disappeared in an instant, and everyone put down what they were holding and looked at the long table of faculty and staff.
"I want to announce something very pleasant to everyone. This Friday, students from other schools will have dinner with us. The details will be posted on the notice board. I wish you all a wonderful night."
After Dumbledore finished speaking, he stood up and left through the small door on the side of the platform, leaving behind a group of chattering little wizards.
"Students from Durmstrang and Bubbaston." Seamus pulled out his tie; he didn't like wearing those things at all.
"I heard that Durmstrang teaches the Dark Arts."
"But isn't the Dark Arts forbidden?"
"If they use dark magic, who can defeat them?"
Ron was not convinced when he heard the other little lions say that. He raised his eyebrows and said to the junior students who thought they would lose: "So what? We have Moody!"
Thinking of Moody's appearance, several students felt that Hogwarts' chances of winning were not low.
Afro walked towards the lounge from an inconspicuous path holding a paper bag. The cold moonlight shone on the corridor, making the walls and the armor on display look very pale and bleak.
"Aphrodite, this is not the way back to Gryffindor."
A familiar voice came from not far in front of her left. Afro looked in the direction of the voice and saw a teenager sitting on the windowsill with one leg bent.
The lattice window cut the moonlight on him into several parts, and the face was hidden in the shadows.
"Ced?"
A slender figure jumped down from the window and walked step by step into the candlelight. A soft glow shrouded his brows, like a breeze warming jade.
"How did you get here?"
Cedric reached out and took the paper bag from her arms naturally, and with his other hand he held hers, leading her back the way she came.
"I just came here while walking. What are you doing here?"
"Wait for the lost child to come over."
Afro blushed and whispered back, "I'm not lost."
"Well, you didn't mean it."
Cedric suddenly stopped and looked at her intently. Afro followed his momentum and also stopped, waiting for his next move.
