Chapter 215: Large-scale Magical Sports Event
Afro looked back and saw three more people in the empty seats in the second row behind Arthur.
Draco, who had just separated from her not long ago, appeared in front of her in a suit with a notch lapel and a waist. While the adults were socializing, Draco ran down the stands.
"I miss you so much."
Hearing this, Afro burst out laughing, "We have only been apart for less than half a day."
"But it felt like a long time had passed." Draco leaned against her clingingly and shook her hand.
Afro touched the brooch on his lapel. The cold gem stimulated her fingertips, making her tremble all over.
"The brooch is the first gift you ever gave me."
Draco felt her movement and looked down. When he saw the brooch, his eyes, brighter than the stars in the sky, revealed a deep love.
Lucius turned around and saw two children secretly being intimate in an empty corner. He walked over and heard a familiar voice of showing off.
"Don't show off, Draco." He tapped Draco's shoulder with his snake-head cane, then nodded to Avro.
Narcissa came in wearing a long black coat. The three members of the family seemed to be dressed in the same outfit, even their hair color was the same.
"Aphrodite hasn't been to the manor in a long time." Narcissa said softly.
Afro was still in a state of premature love and guilty conscience. At this moment, she was unable to face her boyfriend's parents calmly and had no way of acting normal.
"I will definitely visit you next time I have time during the holidays."
However, what she didn't know was that Draco had already told the Malfoys about these things.
Although, Lucius strongly disapproved of the idea of Malfoy's heir working with a group of pure-blood traitors.
But for the sake of his family and the future of his family, he had to stand on Campbell's side.
Hopefully it won't be like last time.
After the handshakes and greetings, the stadium was filled with wizards and witches. Bagman asked Fudge if he could start, and it was obvious that he couldn't wait.
When Draco was about to return to his seat, Avro put something long in his hand. He took a peek and saw it was a pair of binoculars.
He has one too.
But none of them made him as happy as this time.
After everyone was seated, Bagman walked to the front of the stands and pointed his wand at his throat, "Loud voice."
A white light flashed, and it was as if there was a small bee on his throat, which instantly magnified hundreds of times and resounded throughout the stadium like thunder.
"…participating in the 422nd Quidditch World Cup. Now please welcome the Bulgarian team's mascot!"
Deafening applause rang out above the stadium, and shouts and cheers rose one after another, as if to shatter people's ears.
Harry and Ron sat on Aphrodite's left, and the twins sat on his right. The four of them shouted excitedly, as if their throats were rented and they were using them to death for free.
She just felt a buzzing in her ears and head.
More than a hundred beautiful girls glided towards the arena accompanied by loud cheers. Their graceful dancing attracted countless people's attention. Many wizards standing on the fence began to jump over the fence and jump towards the center of the venue.
Fred, who was standing next to the girl, saw Afro looking at the Veela dancing on the field with relish and shining eyes. He pinched her face jealously and turned her towards him.
"What's so good about them, little darling?"
Afro smiled flatteringly and rubbed Fred's fingertips with this action, "So beautiful, don't you like this?"
"Don't you know who I like? Do you need me to shout it out loud?" Fred was so angry when he heard her blaming him, and he pinched his cheek hard.
"No, no." Afro, who thought that she had "learned a bad lesson", quickly stroked the big lion's fur.
"Look at those people." Harry's face flushed as if he had just recovered from extreme joy. He pointed at several wizards who had their legs crossed on the wall of the box.
Arthur leaned forward with a smile and patted the dazed Bill and Charlie on the shoulders. "That's a Veela. It always attracts people's attention."
In every corner of the box, there were voices of ladies laughing at the men's reckless and impulsive behavior, while the men's eyes were still vaguely fixed on the veela standing at the edge of the venue.
Bagman continued to point his wand at his throat, and the loud voice rang out again, "Welcome to the Irish team!"
With a whoosh, a large green and gold ball flew to the center of the field. After flying around the field, it formed a huge clover shape in the air.
The spinning clover rained down golden raindrops, and the wizards in the stands stood up and stretched out their hands to catch them.
