Chapter 180 Tom Offers Help
Chapter 180 Tom Offers Help
When Hermione rushed over with Buckbeak, she saw Harry standing by the lake in silence.
"It's running out of time. We have to go." She called out loudly while riding on the winged beast.
In less than a quarter of an hour Dumbledore would be here and they should leave.
"Why is Buckbeak here?" Afro looked at the winged beast that should have left long ago, and walked up to it and touched its feathers.
Buckbeak lowered his head obediently and let the girl stroke his head.
"I don't know. It just appeared out of nowhere."
After Hermione led the werewolf away, she hid behind a tree. Buckbeak appeared at this time and drove the werewolf away.
"Maybe Mr. Newt is helping us." Hermione pondered for a while and came to a conclusion in her mind.
With Harry's help, Afro sat on Buckbeak's back, thinking of Dumbledore's words.
“All secrets are hidden in time.”
Perhaps, he already knew that they would go back to the past.
Buckbeak waited until everyone was seated, then he raised his neck and chirped, and flapped his kite-like wings twice, carrying them into the sky.
Harry sat at the end, his hand on the waist of the girl he loved, and he used laughter to cover up his disappointment.
"You're right, Afro." His chest pressed against the girl's back, fitting perfectly. "What I saw were not my parents, but us."
Afro felt very upset. She had been looking forward to it for a long time, but the result was like this.
She clenched her hands on her lower abdomen and tilted her head slightly to look at the boy behind her.
"Harry, you don't have to laugh if you don't want to."
"I know." Harry rested his forehead gently on her back. "They are gone, but I still have you...you. You will stay with me, right?"
Afro didn't notice the pause between the word "you guys" as she promised with a smile.
"Of course, I'll always be here."
Harry gradually tightened his arms, but silently responded to her words in his heart, "I remember, I can't regret it."
The largest clock tower at Hogwarts chimed a few times, and they jumped off Buckbeak. The winged beast flew away without waiting for their thanks.
Avro and his companions rushed back to the school infirmary before the last bell rang, and met Dumbledore coming out of the room.
"We did it!" Afro couldn't hide her excitement and thrill, and said to Dumbledore excitedly.
"What?" Dumbledore looked at them in confusion and walked down the stairs, looking as if he knew nothing.
"Good night, kids!" He waved and disappeared at the end of the stairs.
Hermione and Harry looked at each other suspiciously, then pushed the door open together.
The three people behind the door disappeared on the spot, and time started moving again.
"How did you get there!" Ron pointed at them in disbelief, as if he had seen something strange.
The three of them laughed in tacit understanding and coaxed Ron together.
"What is he talking about? Aphrodite?"
"do not know."
"Ron, how can a person be in two places at the same time?" Harry hid the smile on his face and said to him seriously.
Ron's head became even more confused by their words. Confused Ron scratched his head in confusion. He should ask Madam Pomfrey to check his eyes.
By the time Ron and Harry were discharged from the hospital, the whole Hogwarts was talking about Sirius and Peter Pettigrew.
Even the end of the semester cannot stop their passion for gossip.
"Have you heard? Sirius wasn't the one who did what happened twelve years ago." A young wizard in Hufflepuff robes whispered as he leaned against his partner to read the newspaper.
"Is it true?" His partner didn't quite believe it.
Because the newspaper only said that there were doubts in Sirius's case, and the real murderer Peter Pettigrew was punished with the Dementor's kiss on the spot.
This is thanks to Avro giving Peter the "Villain's Jealousy" while escorting him.
To Peter, those who stood on the side of justice were his "villains", so he was directly punished by the angry Fudge.
There is no more role.
The two little wizards who were discussing the case wisely shut their mouths after seeing Harry and Afro, but they still had doubts in their hearts.
"Aphrodite, I'm fine." Harry felt the warmth in his palm and said to her with a smile.
Aphrodite was relieved when she saw Harry's not-so-forced smile. She also read the newspaper. Fudge was ambiguous in the interview, perhaps trying to conceal the Ministry of Magic's mistake at the time.
She looked at the main quest that was stuck at 99% progress, and a bold idea came to her mind.
Two days later, The Prophet published a news article detailing the truth of that year and accompanied it with a video.
The video contains a conversation between Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black, proving that the Ministry of Magic had indeed wronged a real hero back then.
When Harry got the newspaper, he saw the familiar video and his heart softened. The only person who happened to have the same experience as him was Afro.
So it goes without saying who passed the message to the reporter.
A burning gaze fell on the girl who was studying hard, and she subconsciously looked up.
"what happened?"
"It's okay, I just see that you are studying very hard." Harry was looking at her intently with his chin in his hand, an unconcealable smile on his handsome face.
"Yeah, I'm busy as hell."
Afro smiled bitterly in her heart. It was almost the end of the semester and she still had two tasks to complete.
The moment Rita's report was released, the main task of the third grade was completed. But there was still no clue to find the inhibitory potion for Lupin.
The final side quest is to get her score in the top 10% of the grade in the final exam. Afro is almost going crazy with anxiety.
"Do you need my help?"
An unexpected voice suddenly came into her mind, and the quill in Afro's hand paused.
"Tom?"
"Yeah." He responded softly.
But Afro could tell that his tone seemed indulgent?
"What do you want to help with?"
"Potion." Another short answer.
Potion? Did Voldemort know a potion to suppress wolfsbane?
Afro held his chin, looking up at the clear blue sky and fell into deep thought.
"Why do you want to help me?" She hesitated for a moment before responding to Tom.
"Nothing." Tom, hiding in the bottle, closed his eyes slightly and covered his eyes with a slender hand so that no one could see his emotions.
There is no reason, I just couldn't bear to see her staying up late looking for information.
The pair of slightly dark eyes seemed to reappear in front of his eyes.
And he wanted to verify something, something that was difficult for him to explain.
"Okay, then tell me. But you have to tell me where you found it!"
Afro thought for a moment and decided to listen to his formula and test it privately.
Tom chuckled when he heard the girl's inner thoughts, and his hand in front of his eyes slid across her high nose.
Could he still lie to her?
