Chapter 162 The Donkey of the Production Team
Chapter 162 The Donkey of the Production Team
After Madam Pomfrey left, the room returned to peace.
"Harry, are you hurt anywhere?"
Afro turned over and lay on her side facing him. She was just wondering why Harry was not there, thinking that he was discharged from the hospital so soon, and it turned out that he ran away secretly.
She thought...
She felt a little sad when she didn't see Harry.
"Nothing. Madam Pomfrey asked me to observe for a while."
After Harry answered, the room fell into silence again. He mustered up his courage, opened the curtain between them, and met the eyes of Afro, who was lying on her side facing him.
"What's wrong?" Afro, immersed in his thoughts, looked at the handsome face that suddenly appeared in front of him and his eyes widened instantly.
Harry imitated her posture, lying down on his side facing her, and clasped his hands under his cheeks. "I don't know, I just can't understand why the Dementors have such a great influence on me?"
Aphrodite listened quietly to Harry telling her about the doubts and confusion in his heart. In Harry's unique growth, he always encountered inexplicable welcome and honor as well as ridicule and hostility. Harry sometimes couldn't understand why his school life was always full of twists and turns.
"Dementors are one of the most evil creatures. They feed on beautiful emotions and happy memories. They like to destroy the best things in a person, but -"
The girl lifted the quilt and walked over barefoot. She squatted in front of Harry's bed, gently raised her hand, put her palm on his soft black hair, and rubbed his head.
"This doesn't mean you're weak or cowardly."
"But there is no one better than me—"
"Harry, this just shows that you have experienced real fear, fear that others cannot imagine."
Harry looked into her eyes and saw only himself in her eyes. He enjoyed this feeling, as if Afro belonged to him alone, even though in her heart it was just a comfort to a friend.
Her voice was as warm and gentle as the spring breeze, making him want to get closer to her involuntarily, as if no matter what difficulties he encountered, she would stand by him without hesitation and give him strength and support.
Harry quietly hooked his fingers with hers, and seeing that Afro didn't object, he naturally held her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers and clasping them tightly.
"But I'm afraid, Afro." He stared into her eyes, the light in his black pupils shattered.
"Then you need to know what the Dementors fear most."
Afro's legs began to go numb as she squatted on the ground. She stood up and looked around, then sat down on the edge of Harry's bed. Harry lifted the corner of the quilt to cover her exposed calves.
"Although Dementors feed on beauty, they are also most afraid of beauty."
"There is a spell that is used specifically to deal with Dementors." Cedric, who had been listening to their conversation silently, finally couldn't help but join in, and his cold voice sounded from the other side of the room.
"That's right. The Patronus Charm is a very high level of magic in the wizarding world. It can summon a patronus." Afro continued to introduce the Patronus Charm following Cedric's words.
"Patronus Charm?"
Harry had never heard of this spell before. Because of Avro's interference on the train back to school, Professor Lupin's Patronus Charm was not performed in the original plot, so Harry had never seen it.
Unfortunately, the world is a circle, and the world line begins to close again.
"A Patronus is a protection against Dementors, acting as a shield between the caster and the Dementors."
Cedric, who had already entered the senior grade, was very familiar with these advanced spells. He was able to use them with ease and quickly taught them the theory of the Patronus Charm in easy-to-understand terms.
"However, few people can perform it."
Harry fell silent. The Patronus Charm was the only way for him to no longer be afraid of Dementors. He had to learn it.
"Cedric, can you teach me?"
For the first time, Afro saw an embarrassed expression on the face of the rational and gentle Cedric. She turned her head away and tried hard to suppress her desire to laugh.
"I'm sorry, Harry. I don't know how to do this." He scratched his head and chuckled. "You can go find the professors. Professor Dumbledore will definitely be willing to teach you."
"But Dumbledore is now busy with the Dementors entering the campus. I'm afraid he doesn't have time." Harry, whose rare hope was shattered, lowered his eyelids and his gaze fell on his and Aphrodite's clasped hands.
"I know another person!" Afro's voice successfully attracted the attention of the two boys. She raised the corners of her mouth slightly and said an incredible name.
"Professor Lupin?!"
The question of whether Professor Lupin knew the Patronus Charm and was willing to teach Harry was delayed because the holidays were approaching.
Harry, who was successfully discharged from the hospital, began to think about the possibility of secretly going to Hogsmeade village, while Avro was still worrying about the new mission.
"2333, I asked you to take on more tasks that reward more points, but I didn't ask you to treat me like a donkey in the production team! Donkeys can still rest!"
"Xiao Afu, you've been lying in bed for more than half a month! You're just slacking off!"
The latest mission is to get Avro's help and "smuggle" with Harry to Hogsmeade.
Afro wanted to ask if they could go openly, but you wouldn't let them do it; you had to make them do it secretly, which didn't seem like a good person! Why couldn't she use the modification card?
In response to Afro's questioning, 23 looked up at the ceiling at a -degree angle and started chanting rogue slogans.
Afro, who was unilaterally cut off from contact, was thinking sadly about how to convince Harry that she wanted to go out and play secretly like a thief even though she had a permission form.
In Hogwarts, the air was already filled with Christmas joy. Professor Flitwick decorated his classroom with twinkling stars, and the young wizards were eagerly discussing the upcoming Hogsmeade weekend. Harry squeezed past them alone and stepped onto the marble steps.
"Harry! Harry!"
Harry heard someone calling his name and turned around to see the twins hiding in the corner, wrapping themselves up like evil old witches.
"Why didn't you go to Hogsmeade?"
"Before we go, I have a little surprise for you!" Fred winked mysteriously and dragged Harry to a dark corner not far from the statue of the one-eyed witch.
"But don't thank us, thank Afro too." George let go of him, took out an old parchment with yellowed edges from his pocket and handed it to him.
"Aphrodite?"
"Yeah, she said she wanted to go on an adventure with you."
"What are you going to do? Play a trick on Filch or Snape?"
Harry reluctantly took the parchment and read it hastily. Fred and George did not ask any further questions, as they still had to catch up with the carriage of the main army.
"Okay Harry, come on this adventure with us!" the same voices said in unison.
