Chapter 158: Thrilling Quidditch Match

Chapter 158: Thrilling Quidditch Match

Under everyone's gaze, the lively toad turned into a tadpole and fell into Snape's palm. He waved his wand and the toad turned back to normal.

"Campbell's pharmacy is very good. I think I'd be happy to give her an O rating."

After hearing Snape's comments, Afro appeared calm on the surface, but in fact she kept shouting in her heart, "I will never say bad things about you again, you are a good professor!"

Since then, Aphrodite's image has become even more majestic in the eyes of the little lions. She can confront Slytherin students in Professor Snape's class and get Snape to give her a good grade. She is simply the light of the academy!

This Saturday, the first Quidditch match for the third grade will be held. Professor McGonagall is standing by the window, looking at the Quidditch field. Under the rain, only a few red balls can be seen flying in the air.

She was a bit Harry. Since Sirius broke into the castle last time, the school's defenses had been strengthened a lot, but they couldn't find any trace of him.

"Is it really impossible to postpone it? Isn't Snape..."

"Minerva, I know." Dumbledore came to her side with a cup of steaming red wine. "It will be okay. Hogwarts is safe."

The closer the Quidditch match day gets, the worse the weather gets. Wood is in a very low mood because he just learned that Gryffindor's opponent has become Hufflepuff!

"We never studied their tactics!"

It had been raining heavily all day, and Wood's words were drowned out by the rumble of thunder in the distance.

"I heard that Hufflepuff has a new captain and seeker."

"Yes, very tall and handsome."

After Angelina finished speaking, Wood and the twins looked at Afro who was sitting under the awning. The girl hadn't noticed that there was something wrong in the air. She was just reaching out her hand to catch the rain. The cold raindrops fell on her palm and then flowed through her fingers.

"But we have Harry, he is the most talented seeker." Angelina comforted the impatient Wood. She felt that as long as they had Harry, there was no reason why they couldn't win.

I don't know if Angelina's words comforted Wood, but Harry was indeed very distressed. As soon as Wood got out of class, he was either looking for Afro or looking for him.

In order to avoid Wood, Aphrodite and Harry took a long detour, so they were both late for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

"Sorry! Professor Lupin, I..." Afro pushed open the door of the classroom and apologized while jogging to an empty seat. Then he looked up and met the eyes of the dark-faced Snape, who was on the podium and shouldn't have been there.

"The class has already started. Should Miss Campbell give the old professor a reason why——"

"I'm sorry, Professor Lupin, I..."

Before Snape could finish his words, Harry, who was late, suddenly pushed open the door and ran in, saying the same words, with the same expression, and showing the same shock as Avro.

"Well, now can you tell me why you are late?"

Harry and Avro looked at each other. The same smile concealed the same embarrassment. Avro did not dare to look Snape in the eye. Harry wanted to ask why Professor Lupin was not teaching the class.

Snape snorted coldly, waved his wand to lower all the blinds in the classroom, and turned on the big screen on the podium.

"Turn to page 394."

The sound of flipping pages was heard in the classroom. Harry raised his hand and spoke under Snape's warning look.

"Where's Professor Lupin?"

"He's not feeling well. Turn to page 394!"

"But we just talked about the red hat a few days ago--" Hermione suddenly appeared next to Avro, and the sudden sound scared Ron.

"Quiet! Turn to page 394!" Snape used his wand to switch on the projector and began teaching in his usual low voice, "Can anyone tell me how to distinguish between a werewolf and an Animagus?"

Hermione raised her hand high, but Snape, who had his back to her, ignored her and sneered, "No one?"

Hermione put down her hand in disappointment, and Snape glanced at the elbow under the table with an expressionless face. Some people seemed much smarter, but they missed the opportunity to deduct points from Gryffindor.

"To punish you for your ignorance, everyone will hand in a paper on Monday morning."

He walked up to Harry and stared at his face. "Two rolls of parchment. The theme is werewolves."

"Professor, there is a Quidditch match tomorrow." Harry looked at him fearlessly. He felt that Snape's assignment was unreasonable.

"Then Mr. Potter had better pray that his arms are still usable for writing papers."

The first Quidditch match was accompanied by heavy rain and gloomy weather. Even though the rain was getting heavier, it did not stop the enthusiasm of the players and the audience. Hermione and Ron wore raincoats, waved a banner with Aphrodite's name on it, and shouted very loudly.

The two people exuded the aura of an academy.

"Gryffindor must win! Avro must win!"

The wind on the court was very strong, causing Afro to stagger all over the place. Fred and George sandwiched her between them, blocking the strong wind on the one hand and steadying her staggering body on the other.

"Afro, come closer." George squeezed towards Fred, and Afro's body pressed tightly against the two of them. The hot temperature was transmitted to drive away the coldness in her body.

Just walking like that would cause them to trip over their feet.

Cedric was wearing a canary yellow suit, and his handsome face was half covered by rain glasses. But Afro still saw that the smile on his face deepened when he saw her.

Afro could imagine the tenderness in the pair of dark and deep eyes behind the glasses.

Cedric smiled and walked forward to hold Wood's hand. Wood seemed to have lost his mind and looked dazed.

At the sound of a whistle, all the team members rode on their brooms and took off. In less than five minutes, they were soaked by the rain, and the brooms were swaying in the air due to the strong wind.

"Please check your new mission. Bitterness is retribution: As a former member, please do not show mercy to your former colleagues. Prevent the Dementors from entering the stadium. Reward: 10,000 points. 10,000 points will be deducted if the mission fails."

"2333, I usually tell you to watch less TV dramas, what kind of words are these!"

Afro was soaked and almost frozen. She could barely see the Bludger running around. She tried hard to make out Harry's figure in the rain, but the lenses in front of her eyes became foggy and she could not see anything.

She dodged the other players again, and Madam Hooch's whistle sounded with a thunderous roar. Someone stopped the game, and the Gryffindors gathered around Wood, gathering under a giant umbrella.
