Chapter 139 Extra: The Rose of Nott Manor 1

Chapter 139 Extra: The Rose of Nott Manor 1

(Reading background: The timeline is roughly in the sixth or seventh grade. Theodore is neutral but appears to be leaning towards Voldemort. He is not familiar with Aphrodite at school. It is a parallel world with ooc.)

A girl in a red long dress stood in front of the mirror. The exquisite dress outlined her beautiful figure. The slit skirt extended all the way above the knees, revealing her long, slender and straight legs vaguely.

Afro was putting a red curly wig on her head, and a red and black lace mask was placed on the small square table next to the mirror.

"Are you ready?" Snape knocked on the door three times, urging Aphrodite who was still putting on makeup, "It's almost time."

"I still think it's too dangerous to let Aphrodite go." Molly brought a few cups of tea and placed them in front of the members of the Order of the Phoenix. Her worried face showed her concern for Aphrodite.

"But only this way can we know his next step." Although Sirius did not quite agree with this plan, there was really no better way than this at the moment.

"Don't worry, I'm sure she'll take care of everything."

As Lupin spoke, Afro, who had successfully disguised himself, was wearing a mask and had his hand on the arm of an old member who was not often seen.

Because of Malfoy's wavering attitude, Voldemort placed his headquarters in Nott's Manor.

He was going to hold a banquet today, and only wizards from pure-blood families were allowed to attend. It was said to be an exchange, but in fact he was selecting his followers.

Avro commissioned Snape to forge identities for her and another member, intending to sneak into Nott Manor, rescue the captured innocent wizards and understand Voldemort's plan.

And this member is none other than the young version of Voldemort that Avro accepted in his second year.

She thought that the person who knew Voldemort best was himself.

"Remember, you are now an engaged couple." On the way to the manor, Snape designed their identities to avoid being discovered. "Put away the invitation letter and don't compete to be a hero."

Before getting off the car, Snape couldn't help but remind them.

"Excuse me, both of you, can I check your invitation?" A wizard dressed as a waiter stopped two people who wanted to follow Snape in.

Afro put on a polite and sweet smile and leaned forward in the direction of her male companion. From a distance, it seemed as if she was sticking to him.

"My dear, you have the invitation."

Tom, who was disgusted by Afro's sweet and coquettish voice, clenched his teeth to avoid revealing any flaws.

"Baby, I'll give it to you before I leave."

"Oh, sorry. I forgot." Afro smiled apologetically at the waiter and took out the invitation letter that Snape gave them from her handbag.

The waiter took the invitation, took out his wand and checked it, then looked up at Afro and Tom.

"That's all right, Mrs. Robert."

"Thank you." Afro breathed a sigh of relief with a smile on her face, and loosened her fingers that were tightly grasping Tom's sleeve. The color of the fabric there was darker than other places.

As she walked through the door, Afro felt a cold gaze falling on her.

She raised her head and looked around slightly, but couldn't find the owner of her sight. She tugged at Tom's sleeve with her fingers, and Tom turned his ear to the side in response.

"Something's going on. Be careful."

In a corner where no one could see, Tom patted the back of her hand soothingly and led her towards the banquet hall.

No matter where Afro went, that gaze would follow her vaguely.

It was the first time that Afro came to Nott Manor. The luxurious and exaggerated decoration in the hall made her feel that it was different from the Nott she knew.

Could it be...

"So you like the exaggerated style." A teasing tone sounded in Tom's ears. Tom, whose eyes were already hurt by the dazzle of these decorations, had an even greater headache.

Having not seen each other for a few years, he didn’t know that his future self could become like this.

"You look unfamiliar? Is this your first time here?" A middle-aged man in a gray suit and a black mask on his face was followed by the familiar-looking Snape.

"Ah, yes, we are here for that adult." Afro acted like a follower who came here because of his fame, with longing and unique pride in his eyes.

"I am the owner of Nott Manor. Whose family are you from?"

Afro didn't expect to meet an important NPC first. She enthusiastically took over old Nott's topic and started chatting about family matters.

"I took my fiancé's last name, Robert. Our family is so small that it's not worth mentioning."

"Fiancé?" Old Nott's eyes fell on the man who had been standing next to Afro and had not spoken. Although the mask covered most of his face, one could still tell that the young man was extraordinary.

When Afro mentioned the word "fiancé", the gaze that had been on her became even colder. She looked up at the rooftop on the second floor as if she had sensed something, but she only saw a silver-gray figure disappearing around the corner.

"If you need anything, you can come to me."

Old Nott could see that Tom was a talented person with great potential, and wanted to use the credit of introducing them to leave a greater impression on Voldemort so as to win more benefits for the Nott family.

"Okay, Mr. Nott." Afro agreed with a smile. After all, they were not really here to seek refuge. "We have other things to do. Excuse me."

Avro and Tom smiled and nodded to Old Nott and Snape, then walked to a hidden corner.

"We will split up. You go find Voldemort, and I will go rescue people."

After making a plan, Afro was the first to walk out of the corner, and when no one was paying attention, he quickly ran to the stairs.

Standing at the staircase with ups and downs, Afro thought for a moment and decided to go downstairs to check first.

"If I were you, I wouldn't choose to go downstairs."

A low, cold voice sounded behind Afro, as clear as ice and snow in winter.

Afro turned around and looked at the uninvited guest who suddenly appeared behind her. A young man wearing a black suit and a red tie was standing in the shadows.

Looks about the same age as her.

The young man put his hands in his pockets and took a few steps towards her, with a streak of golden light flashing across his collar.

Afro followed the light and saw a golden rose collar clip on her chest.

Afro withdrew his gaze and raised his foot to go downstairs.

"Trust me, there's nothing you want down there."

"How do you know what I want?" Afro turned around again. Although she was asking him, she was already on high alert in her heart. She put one hand behind her back and took out the props from the system space.

The boy, who was covering his face, glanced at her hands behind her back and changed the subject nonchalantly.

"I heard you have a fiancé, can you tell me how you met?"

Different from the previous tone, the low and hoarse voice was obscure and made Afro feel that this person was very dangerous.

"What does it have to do with you? It's inexplicable!"

Without a chance to go downstairs to take a look, Afro pushed away the boy who was blocking her way and left the stairs without any reluctance.

The young man who stayed where he was looked at Afulo's leaving figure with his pupils slightly drooping, his expression becoming increasingly cold, and a smile of unknown meaning appeared at the corner of his mouth.

How come it's none of his business!
