Chapter 64 The Conspiracy Hidden in the Shadows (1)

Wano Country, Oni Island.

"Where is Lord Kaido? Where is Lord Kaido?" A voice came from outside, searching for Kaido. The tone was urgent.

Inside the room, the two big bosses, Jin and Quinn, looked at the flustered people as if they had expected something, but they remained calm, perhaps due to the basic qualities of being big bosses.

“Now we can count them on one hand, but it might not be so in the future.” Jin held up five fingers to show his hand.

Both of them knew a little about Kaido's unexpected behavior, but they didn't quite understand it.

“After reading Oden’s diary, Lord Kaido has been searching for ways to harm him, and he’s become overly fixated on the results in the diary.” King frowned at this.

"Lord Kaido should try out the results of my research, hahahahaha."

"Hmph, how is that girl doing now?"

"You mean that girl who ran away from Jack? She's with the Big Mom Pirates."

But they are often repelled at the edge of Whole Cake Island; even the strongest ones that reach the center are met with defeat under Big Mom's watchful eye, either surrendering or losing limbs and decades of their lives.

It has to be said, that old lady is quite something. Yu had heard of her soul incantation, but had never seen it in person. When he asked Katakuri, he just brushed it off and told Yu not to delve into it.

Wheat Island is located in another part of Whole Cake Island. Foreign pirates generally do not invade from Wheat Island, largely because they know that it is an island managed by Charlotte Katakuri of Whole Cake Island. It would be unwise for Whole Cake Island to confront him head-on upon arrival.
