Chapter 464 Do you still think you've won?

Chapter 464 Do you still think you've won?

Sabo focused his attention, summoning his Overpower, making it hum across his skin, letting it flow like water from his fingertips up his arm, and gradually fade at his elbow.

He knew no one could see it; after all, he wore gloves not just to avoid getting bloodstains on them. But this time, his decorations might be useless, as Sabo could feel Lucci's gaze fixed on his arm.

No matter, Sabo started running and could feel Lucci's body tense up a few feet away, preparing to react to his attack.

Lucci saw Sabo's series of actions and was a little surprised by his act of covering his eyes, but not too surprised.

Sabo's actions certainly made his next move unpredictable, but they also obscured his vision, requiring him to work harder to find him. Even at such close range, he would give him a surprise.

As Lucci watched Sabo attack him, he charged towards Sabo. As he dodged Sabo's arm, Lucci noticed that Sabo's attack direction had changed.

Lucci immediately twisted his body, changing his original evasive trajectory. He grabbed Sabo's wrist with his other hand and pulled him away, quickly avoiding Sabo's attack. He could feel the Armament Haki on Sabo's hand; he was trying to grab him like he had grabbed Ace before.

The two parted ways, staring intently at each other.

“You’re quick, Lucci,” Sabo grinned.

“You too.” Lucci smiled, but his gaze never left Sabo, and his fingers touched the short sword at his waist.

They charged at each other again, and Lucci dodged Sabo's attacks several times. When he couldn't dodge, he fought back from the side. He didn't know why Sabo always wanted to grab his arm, but he knew that it was probably the key to his victory.

Lucci diverted some of his attention to the pipe behind Sabo. He should use that, otherwise he wouldn't have another chance. Lucci grinned, instantly lowered his aura, and switched from defense to offense. The next second, he appeared directly behind Sabo and threw a powerful punch at Sabo's unsuspecting back.

"Got you." Sabo peeked out from under his hat brim, grinned, and caught Lucci's fist. He gripped Lucci's forearm tightly, took a step back, and quickly grabbed Lucci's other wrist, which was about to strike his chin. "You lost!"

Lucci frowned, somewhat annoyed. This was a flaw that Sabo had deliberately revealed, but he didn't have time to think about it too much.

Seeing Sabo grinning smugly at him, Lucci returned the smile. "Not yet." Then, his expression hardened, and he kicked Sabo hard in the stomach with a booted foot.

Sabo's eyes widened in surprise. He hadn't expected Lucci to still refuse to give up even in this state. He increased the pressure on his arm. If Lucci were smart enough, he would know that the pressure he was applying was enough to cause him severe pain, even though he possessed excellent Armament Haki.

Lucci certainly felt the pressure that instantly surged through his hand. The only thing he hadn't expected was that it wasn't even the limit of Sabo's grip. According to the original plan, he could indeed break free from Sabo's grasp, but now...

Feeling the stinging pain in his wrist, Lucci frowned. Since Sabo wouldn't let go, this was the only option. His eyes narrowed, and he kicked upwards with his other leg, increasing the force of the kick. At the same time, he pulled his body back, using the momentum to flip backwards.

Sabo's pupils contracted. He hadn't expected Lucci to be so stupid. The moment Lucci's foot struck his abdomen, Sabo quickly let go and stepped back, reducing the force of the kick and avoiding the risk of Lucci's arm being torn.

"Are you crazy?!" Sabo glared angrily at Lucci, who had just landed.

"I'm not crazy, we're not done yet." Lucci grinned and charged towards Sabo.

Sabo was a little angry as he watched Lucci rush over. He seemed to have completely forgotten that this was just a friendly match, and he needed to teach this bastard a lesson no matter what.

Sabo reached behind him and picked up the tube that had been resting against his back. He then attacked Lucci. The moment Lucci disappeared, Sabo activated his Observation Haki to predict where Lucci would appear. The next second, Sabo opened his eyes and attacked Lucci the instant he reappeared, but his attack was blocked by a short sword.

Sabo spun the pipe around, and Lucci countered with his dagger. For a moment, only the sound of metal clashing against metal filled the air, and the two remained evenly matched.

As Sabo unleashed a powerful blow, Lucci caught it with his short sword, sparks flying as they clashed. He dodged the attack from the pipe, turned, and kicked Sabo hard in the side, sending him flying. Almost the instant Sabo flew away, Lucci followed. The moment Sabo landed, Lucci appeared, a sharp short sword instantly appearing at Sabo's chin.

“Your pipe-using skills are excellent, and your strength is considerable.” Lucci smiled smugly at Sabo, who was glaring at him angrily. “But your hands are more impressive to me.”

Sabo glared angrily at Lucci, who was sitting on him, ignoring the knife under his chin. He propped himself up on his arms and sat up from the ground. Watching Lucci hastily retreat, he grinned and said, "Do you still think you've won?"

Lucci pursed his lips. He knew what Sabo meant, but he still muttered somewhat unwillingly, "If it's an enemy, I will win."

"At the cost of a broken arm?" Sabo took a deep breath, suppressing his rising anger. "If you weren't fighting me, you would have been seriously injured in this battle!"

“I may get hurt, but my Devil Fruit can heal me,” Lucci explained. “So even in this predicament, I won’t lose.”

"Are you an idiot?" Ace rushed over and punched Lucci on the head without hesitation.

"Ace! What are you doing?" Lucci rubbed his head, glaring angrily at Ace. "Ouch!"

"Now you feel pain?! I thought you couldn't feel anything!" Ace crossed his arms in dissatisfaction and accused, "Your Devil Fruit ability can only temporarily relieve your pain, it doesn't mean it's really gone! It's not an excuse for you to act recklessly!"

"Stop doing this recklessly!" Sabo rubbed his hair, his head aching. "Although you've temporarily shifted the pain, that's why you don't know your body's limits. When all the damage erupts at once, how will your body withstand it? You might even collapse before you can react!"

“It’s not that bad, I know what I’m doing,” Lucci said helplessly. “Besides, with my strength, very few people can get me to that point.”

"You'd better know your limits." Ace rolled his eyes, then sighed, thinking about Lucci's condition after their fight with Blackbeard. "Anyway, you really shouldn't repeat what happened last time. You really scared me that time."

Luffy looked at Lucci thoughtfully and said, "Lucci, your Devil Fruit ability looks pretty cool."

"Of course! Isn't it cooler than Ace's?" Lucci exclaimed excitedly.

“Mine is the coolest!” Ace retorted from the side.

"Can your ability also transfer other people's wounds?" Luffy asked, tilting his head.

Lucci blinked, puzzled as to why Luffy suddenly asked this, and replied hesitantly, "Yes, there is such a thing. How did you know, Luffy?"
