Chapter 245 Travel
Chapter 245 Travel
When Hua Ling heard the news, she was utterly speechless. She wasn't flustered at all. Since no one knew who the famous man was going to marry, it wouldn't hurt for Ye Li to come and take his place.
At that moment, a guard entered. "Daimyo, the people sent from Konoha have arrived. Would you like to see them?"
"Hmm." Hua Ling didn't even lift her eyelids, responding indifferently.
Soon, footsteps approached, and she lifted her eyelids to look over. A hint of surprise flashed across her face, but she quickly concealed it and said calmly, "Zhishui, it's been a long time."
"Long time no see." Uchiha Shisui snapped out of his daze and replied stiffly.
After he finished speaking, the two fell silent. The surroundings were so quiet that you could hear a single tree fall.
After a long silence, Hua Ling broke the stillness and asked, "Konoha sent you here, you must have brought something, right?"
Zhi Shui hummed in agreement, took off the item he was carrying on his back, and handed it over.
Hua Ling took the item, glanced at it, and placed it aside. Then she asked, "Does the Fourth Hokage have anything else to say?"
"If not, I'll have someone take you to a place to rest."
Seeing that he remained silent, Hua Ling assumed that he had acquiesced and was about to call someone in when Zhi Shui spoke up, "Hua Ling, I have something to say to you."
Hua Ling paused, stared at him for a while, and then nodded. "Come with me."
She led Zhishui through a garden in Daming Prefecture, where the flowers were in full bloom, but in Zhishui's eyes, they were nothing compared to a single glance from Hualing.
After a while, Hua Ling stopped and couldn't help but ask, "Zhi Shui, didn't you have something to say to me? Your feet are tired from walking, but you haven't said a word."
Shisui looked somewhat puzzled, and several times he tried to speak but then swallowed his words back.
After a long while, Hua Ling was so angry at his cowardly behavior that she turned around and was about to leave.
"What kind of bullshit 'Instantaneous Movement and Still Water' is that? Enemies would run away in terror at the mere sight of it. In her eyes, she's just a coward."
Just as she was about to turn around, Uchiha Shisui finally spoke up, "Hana-rei, I like you."
Upon hearing this, Hua Ling abruptly stopped in her tracks. She had thought that Zhi Shui would ask her why she was getting married, but she never expected him to confess his feelings directly, which was truly unexpected.
Having made a start, Shisui pressed his advantage, "Hana-ling, I want to be with you. Leave with me!"
"Okay?"
After saying these words, Uchiha Shisui looked at Hua Ling with both anticipation and nervousness, waiting for her answer.
Hua Ling was slightly taken aback, pondered for a long time, and then spoke, "Zhi Shui, I have been preparing for this wedding for a long time. Even if it is fake, I cannot leave."
Upon hearing these words, the light in Shisui's eyes visibly dimmed.
“Zhishui…you can actually stay. I’m short of a bride for this wedding, and I think you’re perfect for it.” Hualing suddenly leaned close to Zhishui, looking at him with a playful expression.
She couldn't let him take so long to come to her without teasing him a little.
Zhi Shui was stunned for a long time before he finally spoke, "Hua Ling, this doesn't make sense."
"I am Da Ming, and what I say is the truth. Please stay." Hua Ling moved even closer, close enough to hear each other's breathing.
Shisui was cornered against the wall, her face flushed red, which only fueled her playful mood.
In the blink of an eye, she became the one pinned against the wall. Looking at the person she had been longing for, Zhishui could no longer resist leaning down and kissing him.
From the moment he saw her, he had this thought for a very long time.
Hua Ling never expected Zhi Shui to be so impulsive. Luckily, she had ordered everyone to leave before bringing Zhi Shui here, otherwise she would have lost face if others saw her like this. "She is a famous person!"
However, she liked this side of Shisui very much, and then she and he indulged in the kiss.
The wedding proceeded as planned, but the fact that the daimyo of the Land of Fire became the bride completely shocked everyone.
The former lord's wife already had a daughter, which gave Hua Ling room to maneuver.
Hua Ling has ruled the Land of Fire for so long, and the Land of Fire has changed tremendously. Her abilities are recognized. Whether someone is male or female is not that important. Besides, there are no female daimyo, it's just that they haven't appeared in the Land of Fire yet.
Although the ancient faction of the Land of Fire opposed it, they were too weak to do anything about it. If they dared to oppose it, they would likely be wiped out.
Her husband, the daimyo, is from the Uchiha clan and is famous for his "Shisui of the Body Flicker Technique." Such a union is truly a match made in heaven.
Minato Namikaze never expected that sending Shisui out would result in the loss of such a capable lieutenant, who would become the husband of a daimyo. It was simply too outrageous.
Inside the bridal chamber, Zhishui was still somewhat in a daze, sitting on the bed with a nervous expression on his face. Hualing found it amusing and teased, "Zhishui, what are you nervous about? I'm the one who should be nervous!"
"Hua Ling, I'm not ready yet!" Zhi Shui said seriously, not wanting to deceive her.
"I know, I wasn't really ready either, so I'm giving you a chance to pursue me again."
"What do you think of the 'marriage of convenience to love' plot?" Hua Ling stared at Zhi Shui, looking at him with a mischievous grin.
"Okay." After not seeing her for so long, he really needed to fall in love with her all over again and make up for the lost time.
The two sat and looked at each other for a while, then Hua Ling suddenly stood up and said, "Zhi Shui, it's getting late. I'm going to rest in the next room."
Before she could finish speaking, Hua Ling had just taken a step when her hand was suddenly pulled, and she fell into Zhi Shui's arms.
Zhi Shui pulled her into his arms, his eyes filled with love and a hint of desire. "Hua Ling, um... tonight is our wedding night."
Hua Ling was somewhat confused, "And then..."
Zhi Shui was momentarily speechless. He lowered his head and placed a kiss between her brows, showing his affection through his actions.
Hua Ling's face flushed slightly, and after a long while, she finally spoke, "Zhi Shui, didn't you just say you weren't prepared..."
"I'm ready now." Zhi Shui's eyes burned with desire as he looked intently at Hua Ling. "I love you, Hua Ling."
"Also, I want to hear you call me brother."
"Ah!" Hua Ling's mind went blank for a moment, and when she came to her senses, Zhi Shui's lips were already on hers.
As time passed, the clothes fell to the ground one by one.
"Hua Ling, you are so beautiful!" Zhi Shui said sincerely, looking at the person beneath him.
"Brother..." Hua Ling murmured.
At that sound, the string in Shisui's mind snapped instantly.
The moonlight was exceptionally bright that night, and the two figures intertwined in the moonlight.
After a while, Zhi Shui ran his fingers through Hua Ling's hair, looked at her with desire in his eyes, and whispered, "Does it still hurt?"
A blush crept onto Hua Ling's face. She pursed her lips slightly, lowered her eyes, and shook them.
Having received the answer, Shisui no longer suppressed himself and pressed forward.
The moon had quietly hidden behind the clouds, as if afraid of disturbing their enjoyment.
The next day, Hua Ling woke up in Zhi Shui's arms and saw Zhi Shui playing with her hair. She looked down a little and noticed the various scratches on Zhi Shui's body. She thought of the madness of the night before and blushed. She buried her head back in Zhi Shui's chest.
Zhi Shui chuckled softly. He hadn't expected Hua Ling to be so shy. He still vividly remembered all the teasing words she had said to him before.
He pulled her closer to him and said, "Hua Ling, I've planned a honeymoon trip. Let me tell you about it."
"Ok?"
Hua Ling poked her head out and asked in confusion, "Honeymoon trip?"
Zhi Shui lowered his head and kissed her before speaking, "Of course, a wedding should include a honeymoon."
"But where do you find the time to plan?" Hua Ling asked, her face full of confusion.
Shisui smiled but didn't answer. Instead, she asked, "Do you want to go?"
"If I say I don't want to, brother... what will you do?" Hua Ling couldn't help but tease him, forgetting where she was.
"You'll say yes." Zhi Shui kissed Hua Ling, who was looking on with confusion.
"Zhi Shui has definitely gone astray." Hua Ling thought to herself, but her thoughts were quickly drawn into the sea of desire by Zhi Shui.
One time, she learned her lesson and stayed in Zhishui's arms, listening to his plans for their honeymoon.
The more she listened, the more suspicious she became. "This honeymoon trip must have been planned by Zhishui a long time ago, otherwise how could it be so detailed?"
What an idiot! He'd actually wanted to marry her for a long time!
Hua Ling was a little angry. If the news of her marriage hadn't spread, Zhi Shui probably wouldn't have come looking for her.
"Damn it!" The more Hua Ling thought about it, the angrier she became, and she took a bite out of Zhi Shui.
A flicker of pain crossed Zhi Shui's face, then he pulled her closer. "Hua Ling, I was wrong before. Please forgive me."
Hua Ling snorted softly, pouting, "Are you still going back to Konoha?"
"I'm not going back. If I do go back, I'll take you with me," Zhishui said apologetically.
"You big idiot..." Hua Ling muttered as she pressed herself closer to Zhi Shui.
The soft touch in his arms made Zhishui want it again.
Hua Ling seemed to sense the changes in Zhi Shui's body. She tried to find an excuse to escape, but before she could do so, she was pressed down and forced to begin a new round of battle.
"She was wrong...she should have left some people to serve her."
Shisui doesn't seem like a person who is obsessed with desires, so she's not the same as she imagined.
