Chapter 35 What to do if your roommate is not very friendly?
He looked at Dumbledore with a puzzled expression. Could it be that the other party wanted to kill the child?
Dumbledore didn't explain to Snape, but shook his head, signaling him not to ask any more questions, his eyes urging him to quickly take Chu Yang away.
Snape snorted, bowed slightly to Dumbledore, and turned to leave.
"Thank you for your hospitality, Headmaster Dumbledore. The snacks here are quite good." Chu Yang bowed politely, then followed Snape away.
Dumbledore watched the two figures as they left until the door closed tightly.
The entrances to Slytherin's house dormitories and common rooms are located in the basement of Hogwarts.
Hufflepuff School is also located here.
The two houses are in opposite directions, separated by Hogwarts' kitchen, where hundreds of house-elves work.
Chu Yang followed Snape back to the path through which the freshmen entered the school's main gate from the cave crossing, and then took another fork in the road.
Before long, Chu Yang saw a wet stone wall blocking his way.
This scene is exactly the same as the scene at the back door of the Leaky Cauldron.
"Pureblood!"
Snape proudly announced the command, glancing at Chu Yang, before the stone wall burst open, revealing a cobblestone path beneath their feet.
The two walked deeper into the path, and suddenly a spacious lounge appeared.
The walls are made of black Gothic marble, and the ceiling is a transparent semicircle carved from crystal, through which you can see the shimmering light above.
This place is located at the bottom of the lake, or more precisely, the bottom of Black Lake.
Chu Yang looked up.
You can see fish swimming by outside the window, as well as some huge marine creatures.
A green-glowing lamp was chained to the ceiling. Inside, there was a fireplace with an intricately carved mantel.
The common lounge leads to the male and female dormitories on either side.
Snape stood at the entrance and said coldly, "You don't expect me to find you even a bed to sleep in, do you?"
"Thanks."
Despite Snape's cold attitude, Chu Yang still said goodbye to him very politely.
"Slytherin is different from other houses. The students here are very hostile to non-pure-blood wizards. If you are not capable of protecting yourself, you should leave as soon as possible, lest you lose your life here," Snape added abruptly.
Then he walked out of the lounge without looking back.
Knife mouth tofu heart.
Watching Snape's arrogant back, Chu Yang shook his head and walked up the stairs leading to the boys' dormitory.
Chu Yang walked into the room and saw a row of beds with dark blue curtains hanging in front of him. Unlike the relatively cheerful atmosphere of Gryffindor, the Slytherin boys were somewhat serious. They did not play around excitedly in the dormitory, but instead prepared to first determine the leader of the dormitory.
As for what to compete in...
Of course, it's their family background that they are proud of. Whoever has a more illustrious family background has more say and dominance in the dormitory.
Draco Malfoy wasn't there, so for a moment, the boys couldn't tell who was better.
However, one thing is certain... Chu Yang, who is not a pureblood, must have the lowest status.
"What are you doing here!" Gao Er shouted as he saw Chu Yang standing at the dormitory door during the argument.
The freshmen all turned their attention to Chu Yang, and then they remembered the astonishing scene in the auditorium earlier.
"Isn't he a Muggle? How could he be sorted into Slytherin?" Crabbe and Goyle, who knew about Chu Yang's background, whispered among the freshmen around them. After a while, everyone knew Chu Yang's true identity.
The freshmen who had just been welcoming Chu Yang suddenly changed their tune, forming a united front and staring at him with hostile eyes.
"Excuse me, could you please leave? This is the great Slytherin House, not a place for a non-pure-blood wizard like yourself. You must have come to the wrong place." The dark-skinned Blaise Zabini stepped forward, looking at Chu Yang with a disdainful expression.
Chu Yang looked at his classmates, who regarded him as an enemy, and a slight smile appeared on his lips. "You don't like me being here, and that just goes to show. Even back in the orphanage, I preferred to sleep in my own room!"
"The dormitory-style sleeping area is really not suitable for me, so you'd better get out and let me sleep in peace. Otherwise, many people might miss class tomorrow, and if Slytherin gets points deducted, I'll be in big trouble."
"You lowly Mudblood dare to threaten us?" Chu Yang's attitude stung the pure-blood wizard Blaise's pride. "This isn't your territory, you Eastern bastard!"
"I don't think there's such a profession as wizard in Africa; there are only shamans there," Chu Yang sneered. "I heard your ancestors learned magic in a cotton plantation."
Brace, who is of Black descent, was furious!
He charged straight at Chu Yang, intending to let this thin, frail-looking Easterner feel his power!
The scene was somewhat comical, as Blaise, who considered himself a pure-blood wizard, was about to teach someone a lesson with his fists because he had not yet learned any offensive magic.
While Blaise and Chu Yang were clashing, Goyle and Crabbe retreated in perfect unison, still believing that Malfoy's ordeal might be related to Chu Yang.
The two of them may be silly, but their intuition is quite sharp.
How much of a threat can an 11-year-old's fist pose?
Chu Yang didn't even bother to dodge, seizing the opportunity to kick Blaise in the stomach.
Blaise felt a tremendous force slam into him. As the pain surged, his consciousness began to blur, and he could only feel himself flying.
In fact, he was indeed kicked away by Chu Yang. After landing, he slid several meters on the smooth floor before being pushed under the bed by inertia.
Brace immediately became dizzy.
The others were even more startled!
With just a casual kick, the strong Blaise was knocked unconscious by Chu Yang.
"Damn it, let's all go together and kick him out of Slytherin!"
The group swarmed forward, intending to overwhelm Chu Yang with sheer numbers. The fighting also attracted freshmen from other dormitories.
After learning the whole story, they resolutely joined the camp against Chu Yang.
At this moment, Gore and Crabbe once again retreated in unison.
Their intuition remained accurate.
Within a few breaths, a group of 11-year-old children were lying on the ground foaming at the mouth.
Chu Yang clapped his hands and smiled at the two of them, "If you don't mind, could you please take this trash with you when you leave? And please don't disturb my sleep, okay?"
Gore and Crabbe nodded frantically, like chickens pecking at rice.
Afterwards, Chu Yang found a bed by the window where he could admire the mysterious creatures at the bottom of the lake. He quickly took off his robe, crawled into the soft quilt, closed his eyes, and revealed a comfortable smile.
Gore and Crabbe carefully carried the boys out of the room one by one, afraid of disturbing Chu Yang's sleep.
While moving Blaise, Goyle momentarily lost focus, causing Blaise's head to hit the bed leg with a dull thud.
Chu Yang's eyelids twitched, but he didn't open them; instead, he showed an impatient expression.
Gore and Crabbe were terrified, and while trembling, they slowly dragged the person out of the room.
After the two of them tiptoed to close the door, Chu Yang smiled and drifted off to sleep.
Looking at the freshmen lying in the lounge, Gore and Crabbe, who were busy and sweating profusely, each found a comfortable sofa to lie down on with bitter faces.
The fireplace flames burned brightly, but they couldn't dispel the dampness on the ground.
After all, this is the bottom of a dark lake. If these freshmen just lie there until dawn, most of them will catch a cold.
