Chapter 661: Chosen One of Caeloria
Chapter 661: Chosen One of Caeloria
Skarl remained in his defensive stance, his massive form blocking any potential retreat. The Orc’s expression had shifted from aggression to satisfaction.
Whatever had just echoed across the continent had fundamentally altered the equation on the platform.
Jack stood motionless, his white hair catching the morning light, his expression absolutely neutral despite the satisfaction burning behind his golden-orange eyes.
And then the world shifted.
A blur of motion cut through the street.
It wasn’t destructive, but moving with such velocity that the very air displaced by the passage created a localized wind that scattered loose debris and caught the attention of every consciousness present.
The guards, still frozen, suddenly realized something was coming fast, and only one person could be behind it.
The blur decelerated, and Faye Vesper became visible.
She was striking in a way that transcended simple physical beauty. But it was her body that commanded absolute attention.
Her lips were glossy, painted in a shade of pink. Her cleavage was accentuated by the form-fitting dress she wore.
A garment of white silk that clung to every curve. Her breasts swelled against the fabric that made the guards’ eyes widen despite their training.
Below, her hips flared into generous curves that continued into an ass that seemed almost impossible in its proportions.
A round, plump ass. Her legs were long and defined, emerging from the silk dress with a visual impact that made breathing a conscious effort for those observing her.
Around her entire form, a divine green aura pulsed with the unmistakable signature of a wind god.
The aura seemed to accentuate her curves, making her presence somehow more voluptuous. All eyes were glued to her, and for some reason, no one could look away.
Her fragrance was delightful, reminiscent of a rose garden.
She moved directly toward Jack with the single-minded focus of someone who had been searching for him across great distances and had finally found what she was looking for.
"Hubby!" she exclaimed, her voice carrying such unbridled enthusiasm that it created an almost audible presence of pure joy. "You’re finally here!"
She threw herself forward; she had no concept of personal space or social restraint.
Her arms wrapped around Jack’s arm, pressing her large, plump breasts against him. They were extremely soft, warm, and distracting to everyone present. Her hip curved against his thigh. Her cheek rested against his shoulder.
’What a lucky bastard!’ All the guards thought in unison.
"I’m Faye Vesper!" she announced, her voice practically singing with excitement. "I’m a Chosen One of Caeloria, and Zephyros told me you’re the man I’m destined to be with!"
Her eyes radiated a vibrant green luminescence, in sync with her divine aura. Her genuine, unfiltered smile radiated an aura of pure enthusiasm.
Jack’s expression shifted fractionally.
’Zephyros? When did this happen?’ He thought, but other thoughts came rushing to his head.
"You’re soft," Jack observed, his voice carrying absolute certainty. His pride manifested in that simple acknowledgment.
Faye’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, her enthusiastic energy somehow becoming even more pronounced.
"I am!" she agreed, her voice practically bubbling with delight. She pressed herself even more firmly against his arm, her breasts compressing against him. "And you’re so warm, strong and..."
"You can release my arm," Jack said, his tone carrying the kind of quiet authority. "I need to address remaining matters."
"But I like holding your arm," Faye protested, her lower lip pushing outward in an exaggerated pout. Her glossy lips curved downward, her expression becoming almost childlike despite her obvious physical maturity and divine status. "It’s warm, strong, and you smell good and..."
Jack flicked her forehead.
Faye’s pout deepened for about half a second before transforming into a grin of absolute delight.
"You flicked me!" she exclaimed, her voice rising with genuine happiness. "That’s so cute! That means you like me! Zephyros said you’d be serious and cold, but you’re not! You’re actually..."
"Release my arm," Jack repeated, his tone carrying the same measured authority as before.
Faye pouted once more and finally released her grip on his arm. She remained close enough that her divine aura continued to brush against him; her presence was impossible to ignore.
Caspian’s voice emerged from somewhere beyond conscious control.
"What is... what is this?" the Council member whispered, his voice carrying the shattered remains of authority. "Faye Vesper, you cannot simply..."
Faye’s glare turned toward Caspian with the focused intensity of a Chosen One who had just identified an obstacle.
The Council member’s words died in his throat. His face went even more gray. And his body began to tremble with a fear that transcended anything Jack’s threat had inspired.
Because Caspian had just been exposed to the direct attention of a divine warrior, and his body understood completely that such attention could result in his immediate cessation.
He did not attempt to speak again.
The elite guards who had been beginning to regroup in the street froze. They did not flee, but neither did they move toward Jack or Faye.
They stood, weapons still sheathed, witnessing something that their military minds understood would require far more than conventional combat to resolve.
Skarl’s massive frame relaxed slightly from its defensive posture. The Orc warrior’s tusks caught the light as he observed the interaction between Jack and the Chosen One with amusement.
"A Chosen One of Zephyros," Skarl rumbled, his voice carrying the kind of reverence that warriors reserved for forces of nature beyond their power to contest. "The wind god’s favor has selected an interesting path."
Grom stepped out through the villa’s entrance, his painted face turning toward Faye with the assessing gaze of a shaman evaluating supernatural phenomena.
"A Dragon King’s interest," Grom said quietly, his ancient eyes moving from Jack to Faye to the gathered guards and back again. "A Chosen One’s devotion. The Orc’s alliance. You are no longer simply an emissary, Jack Kaiser. You have become a focal point for forces that transcend normal political heir hierarchy."
Jack remained silent, his white hair catching the morning light as he processed the shifting dynamics of the situation.
"And the Elven Council," Grom continued, moving to stand beside Skarl in the alley, "will now be forced to recognize that any move against you would require them to contend not simply with a single political opponent, but with a Chosen One of divine favor, a Dragon King’s attention, and Krogar’s military might."
Faye grabbed Jack’s arm again, her glossy lips curving into an absolutely radiant smile.
"See?" she said, her bubbly voice carrying the kind of triumphant certainty that this outcome had never been in doubt. "I told you that Zephyros knew what he was doing! We’re going to be so good together! And now everyone knows that you’re mine!"
The guards remained frozen in position, witnessing the tableau: a Kaiser standing in an alley with a divine Chosen One openly claiming him, flanked by Orc warriors, with the implicit backing of a Dragon King.
Every guard would have the word spread within the hour that a chosen one of Caeloria had chosen to back a Chosen One of Elysium so openly.
Faye’s enthusiasm showed no signs of diminishing as Jack walked toward the palace district.
"I’ve been looking for you for so long!" she gushed, her divine green aura creating a corona of light that surrounded both of them as she clung to his arm. "Zephyros kept saying, ’Faye, your destined one is occupied with important matters, you must be patient,’ but I was so impatient!"
