Chapter 15 I Have a Complete Renovation Plan
Chapter 15 I Have a Complete Renovation Plan
The once damp and cold cellar became dry and warm after a day of activity, and even the lights became brighter.
There were a bunch of new things in every nook and cranny: a new gold watch face to control the temperature on the wall, a large plush rug on the floor, a placemat on the desk, a blanket folded on the sofa, and several ceiling lights hanging from the ceiling.
Snape watched the cub take things out, and at first tried to stop him. The two stared at each other for a while, the smoky purple eyes looking at the black eyes, and the black eyes looked away first.
Finally, in despair, she thought, "Let him do whatever he wants, as long as he doesn't tear down the cellar or cry."
The rising temperature made Snape uncomfortable, and the sudden fulfillment of his previously ignored request brought on a wave of drowsiness, causing him to slowly fall asleep.
Leaning back on the sofa, the dry and warm environment, the soft lighting, the soft blanket, and the quiet cubs all helped to soothe my nerves after a long day.
Finding Xiangxiang asleep, Emeric quietly stepped forward and covered him with a small blanket. He then found a thermal potion and placed it on the potion cabinet; the potions smelled of Xiangxiang, and he wanted to protect them!
Although he thought the contents of the ring were an apology from his father and grandfather for leaving him on a date, it was actually his spare room, which he could easily transform into something exactly like home, no matter where he went.
Snape slept until three in the afternoon. When he opened his eyes, it took him a while to catch up with his thoughts. There was a warm little body leaning against him.
"Time Manifests"
He realized he hadn't slept for this long in a long time, and thought someone next to him might not be able to sleep, but he slept for so long without even touching the bed.
"Fufu, I need a cup of black tea, a cup of milk, a bowl of shrimp wontons, and a serving of fried rice noodles. Thank you."
"Yes, Professor Snape, is the milk for the young master? It's been so long since I've seen him like this!"
In just three months, his lifestyle, which had remained unchanged for over a decade, was completely altered. His partner gradually infiltrated his life, his previously pale and sallow complexion became fair and rosy, his frequently injured fingers were well protected, and his unhealthy eating habits became much more normal under supervision.
The house-elf's shrill voice woke the cub. This relieved Snape; he needed to wake the cub for food, but he didn't want to upset the child later.

"Severus, what time is it? I'm so hungry."
"Three o'clock, five minutes from now."
Emeric rubbed his eyes, jumped off the sofa, and obediently washed his hands to prepare for dinner. After dinner, he still had to continue his renovation project; there were still a lot of things that hadn't been put in their proper places. The little boy swung his legs, his gaze slowly scanning the layout of the room.
"Allie, I need to work later. Can you play by yourself for a while? But don't cause any trouble." Snape had never spoken in this tone before; it was slightly stiff. He was very glad that the ones he needed to take care of as cubs weren't Gryffindors, specifically the Weasley twins.
He couldn't believe how much damage those two troublemakers could cause in an hour in the cellar; he figured he'd have to ask Dumbledore for permission to renovate.
The room was quiet, the sound of the cub's footsteps particularly loud. Occasionally, young Emeric would ask Snape for his opinion, such as whether the sofa could be replaced, or what color the doormat should be. Snape refused any major alterations, and when asked about colors, there was only one answer: silver-green.
There were a lot of things on the desk: several new quill pens, two notebooks with a nice texture, several unopened bottles of ink, and a small dish of cookies.
Emery dragged Snape into the Potions Room. He knew that permission was required to enter a room, so he pulled the boy inside for a tour. Snape, being pulled along by the cub, had no choice but to follow him in, otherwise another piece of his clothing would be ruined.
Go inside and continue decorating. Cover the table for brewing potions with a fireproof and waterproof mat, put a small deodorizing tool here, a knife rack there, and call Snape for help with things you can't reach.
Snape was unusually good-tempered today and accepted orders because he would cry if he refused the cubs. After coaxing them twice, he decided it was better to accept his fate.
"Coo coo coo, thump thump thump."
A huge black owl flew to the cellar door and began to knock.
"Enter"
Although he didn't know who it was, Snape, who was about to lose his temper while reviewing papers, was about to take a break. If he accidentally yelled and scared the cub to tears, he would have to comfort him, which would be a loss.
The owl dropped a howling letter at Emeric's feet, flew to the newly placed shelf by the wall, and ate its food while keeping an eye on things.
The little cub tilted its head cutely, walked over to Snape, tugged at his clothes, and asked him to help open it.
"Americh Thaddeus, what exactly are you trying to do? You'd better show yourself in Nurmengard right now, or I'll come find you and give you a good beating."
Snape stared in astonishment at the little cub on the ground. He couldn't believe what a well-behaved child would do, to have a howling letter sent, especially by a dark wizard.
Feeling a little uncomfortable under their gaze, the cub spoke up to explain, "Grindelwald is my father's godfather. I call him grandpa. He always likes to bully me. Severus, will you come with me?" His pitiful tone and appearance made Snape back down once again.
He sighed, picked up his wand and several bottles of potions that could paralyze enemies, picked up the cub with one hand, and touched the door key on the ground.
After a bout of intense dizziness, the two men found themselves in Newmont's meeting room. Two people sat on the sofa opposite them: one Snape recognized very well, and the other he guessed was Grindelwald.
"Severus, where's Emeric? Whose child are you holding?" Forgive the old man for having been up all night and then sleeping all day, which has made his eyesight a bit poor.
Dumbledore still felt unwell; his back was still sore after a day. With the anti-aging potion wearing off, his 90-year-old body was even more uncomfortable. He wanted to give Emeric a complete childhood.
"What did you do to Ellie? Al, who is this person?" Gellert snatched little Ellie from his arms and held him close. His youngest son and eldest grandson were the lifeblood of an old man; over the years, Gellert had long regarded Ellie as his own child.
Although the child loves to do bad things and always gets into trouble, it cannot be denied that because of Ellie's companionship, he has not become emaciated and waiting to die.
Two question marks appeared in Dumbledore's and Snape's minds one after the other. Dumbledore was curious about what Gellert had gone through all these years, that he would actually take a child on his own initiative; Snape laughed in exasperation, thinking that no wonder he was a dark wizard who could snatch a child so confidently.
"Gail, this is my Potions professor, Severus Snape. I think it's more important for us to figure out why Allie turned into a child first."
